Beginner Pole Class Checklist

Everything to bring and do before your first pole class, in one checklist.
Before class: sign up for a true beginner or intro class; complete the studio waiver; skip lotion/oils that day; eat a light meal 1–2 hours before.
What to bring: fitted shorts and tank/sports bra; leggings and layers for warm-up; water bottle; small towel; hair tie; grip aid (optional — most studios sell it).
At the studio: arrive 10–15 minutes early; tell the instructor it's your first class and mention any injuries; ask about their level progression for what's next.
